Hal Stinchfield is a 30-year veteran of the promotion industry. He began his career at the Carlson Marketing Group in 1976. In 1985 he joined Young America Corporation as an equity partner and remained there until 2000. His latest corporate assignment was as Senior Vice President of Archway Marketing Services (formerly Gage Marketing Services), which he left in 2004 to found Promotional Marketing Insights.
He has overseen the management of more than 50,000 consumer promotions during his career. Having managed some of the most successful multi-million dollar marketing campaigns in the history of sales promotion, he brings unparalled experience to rebate and promotion management. He is considered an expert in predicting how consumers will respond to any type of marketing initiative.
His past clients include Pepsi-Cola Company, Masterfoods USA, Unilever, Olympus USA, R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. His current clients include Symantec Corporation, Lorillard Tobacco Company, PayPal (division of eBay), United Healthcare, Pearson Government Solutions, and Pfizer Consumer Healthcare.
Mr. Stinchfield is a strategic and analytical consultant specializing in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of all types of consumer promotions. His primary focus is on increasing customer satisfaction and decreasing overall program expense.
He is regarded as one of the most passionate and knowledgeable resources in promotion management and speaks fluidly on a myriad of subjects ranging from fraud control to slippage and escheatment. He has also authored several articles and made over 750 C-level presentations on everything from cost containment in the promotion space to increasing customer satisfaction and techniques for effective promotion planning.
